Get ready for a thrilling evening of family fun with a special commemorative twist as HMS Sultan's beloved Bonfire and Fireworks Night returns on Thursday 29th October. Set in the heart of the Royal Navy's centre of excellence for Air and Marine Engineering, this year's spectacular event promises an unforgettable night for all the family whilst celebrating HMS Sultan's 70th anniversary as the home of Royal Navy Marine and Air Engineering.

Provided as an affordable community event, the evening also aims to support HMS Sultan's own service charity, bringing the local and service community together for a night of celebration.

What to expect
Join Nation Radio's Mark Collins as he guides you through an evening packed with entertainment and celebration. Enjoy traditional funfair rides and games (please note charges apply for rides) before gathering around our impressive bonfire, all building up to a breathtaking fireworks finale featuring a special engineering-inspired soundtrack that celebrates 70 years of skill, innovation, and looks to the future of the service, at HMS Sultan. Hot food, snacks and treats will be available throughout the evening to keep everyone fuelled for the fun.

This year's fireworks display will mark seven decades of engineering excellence, creating a spectacular tribute to the generations of engineers who have trained and served at HMS Sultan, and looking ahead to those who will shape its future, whilst maintaining all the excitement and spectacle families expect from HMS Sultan's premier bonfire night event.
